Kamenetz Makes Planning Board Appointments
Appointments include Towson Chamber of Commerce executive director and a former county police officer who appeared in campaign commercials for county executive.
Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz announced Friday the appointment of three new Planning Board members and the elevation of a current member to vice chairman.
Newly appointed to the 15-member volunteer board are Jeffrey E. Gordon, Nancy Hafford and Rainer C. Harvey, Sr. All three begin their three-year terms on Jan. 1.
Gordon, a Reisterstown resident, is an attorney with the Baltimore office Hogan Lovells, according to a county release.

Hafford, a Towson resident, currently serves as the executive director of the Towson Chamber of Commerce.
Harvey, a Windsor Mill resident, is a former Baltimore County police officer who now serves as the chief of administrative operations for the Maryland Department of Human Resources. Harvey appeared prominently in a campaign commercial for Kamenetz during the 2010 election.

Paul G. Miller, a Lutherville resident, was named vice chairman. He has served on the board for seven years, according to a county news release.
