Business Group Scores 42nd District Representatives
The Towson-based Maryland Business for Responsive Government released its report on the recent General Assembly session.
The Towson-based interest group Maryland Business for Responsive Government this week released its scorecard of Maryland General Assembly members, based on votes taken during the most recent legislative session.
The group grades legislators based on their voting records on the floor and in committees on bills supported or opposed by the organization. For example, the group gave out poor grades to senators and delegates who voted in favor of an income tax increase on higher earners, as well as those who voted in favor of doubling the "flush tax" fee on residences and businesses for the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund.
