Cancer Patients Profile Journeys on 'Houses of Hope'

The decorated bird houses are on display at the Baltimore County Public Library's Towson and Arbutus branches.

Kids with cancer, and the friends and family of those who have passed away, shared their stories through bid house decorating.

These 'Houses of Hope' can be seen at the Towson and Arbutus branches of the Baltimore County Public Library, according to a news release. The houses, which come alongside a story about the creators, will be on display until the end of October.

The initiative was organized by the Cool Kids Campaign, a Towson-based nonprofit that services kids with cancer.
