Corner Bakery to Open Early August

The new Towson location for the Corner Bakery Cafe will open Aug. 6, the chain announced Monday.

The first 100 customers when the restaurant opens at 6 a.m. next Monday will receive a travel mug and free refills on coffee for a year. The opening week will also feature a drawing for a year of free panini sandwiches, according to a company press release.

The Towson location at 823 Goucher Boulevard is the third for the fast-casual Corner Bakery chain. It also has cafes in Pikesville and the Inner Harbor.

“Corner Bakery Cafe has been well received in the Baltimore market and we’re confident that will be the case with our newest cafe in Towson,” Mike Hislop, the chain's CEO, said in a press release. “The mid-Atlantic has been one of our strongest regions and will continue to be a prime area for development moving forward.”
