County Offers Christmas Tree Pickup

Trees will be chipped and used for mulch.

County trash collectors will pick up Christmas trees for recycling during a two-week period in January.

The rules for getting your tree picked up are simple:

  • Set out the tree only. No bags or decorations or tree stands.
  • Trees must be left in front of the house. There will be no tree collections from neighborhood alleys.

Collectors will pick up the trees during a two-week period beginning Jan. 10. To ensure collection, all trees must be set out at the curb no later than Jan. 15 to be picked up the following week.
