Adams has a bond hearing scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m. in Towson District Court. That's when a judge will decide if Adams will remain in jail until his trial or if he will be released on bond or recognizance.
"These charges represent a complete breach of trust, responsibility, and the law, and this alleged behavior will not be tolerated in BCPS," Robinson said. "We hold our employees to a high standard and these allegations violate that."
Robinson said school staff are available to speak with students. Anybody who needs support can call (443) 809-0742.
The principal offered this resource sheet for talking with children about abuse.
Robinson said anybody who has information or knows any other potential victims should contact the Baltimore County Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit office at 410-887-7720 or the Department of Social Services at 410-887-8463(TIME).
"We understand that students and staff who know Mr. Adams may have questions about this arrest and may need to speak with someone to process their feelings in a safe space," Robinson said. "Ensuring a safe learning environment for our students is our top priority."
