Loch Raven Fireworks Ready to Go
Where's your favorite vantage point for the annual tradition?

After , Loch Raven Village's will go off as planned Wednesday night.
The fireworks can be viewed starting at dusk from numerous nearby neighborhoods.
Gretchen Sarkin, president of the Loch Raven Village Associates, said your best bet is probably the shopping center parking lots closest to the field at Loch Raven Academy. The best seats in the house fill up several hours before the fireworks go off.

Many Loch Raven Village residents used to watch from their lawns, Sarkin said but "a lot of that's changed because of the tree height. You can see the ones that are high but you cant see the ones that are lower."
Sarkin said she'll be watching from the baseball field at Pleasant Plains Elementary School.

At the Giant parking lot, a booth will sell small fireworks and sparklers to help keep you and your kids entertained until the big moment.
If you want a bigger experience, head up to Oregon Ridge, where the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will host its Star-Spangled Spectacular on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
