Man Shot In Baltimore County, Reward Offered: Police

A man was shot this weekend in Baltimore County, police said. Investigators offered a cash reward for tips.

HALETHORPE, MD — A man was shot early Saturday morning in Halethorpe, police said. Officers expect him to survive.

Authorities said they were called for shots fired around 12:45 a.m. in the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle. That's located in the Lakeside Homes at Holiday Heights apartment community.

Police said they found a man "with a single gunshot wound to an upper extremity."

Medics took the victim to a hospital, officers said.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-307-2020. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
