Man Shot In Hookah Bar Dies, Baltimore County Police Searching For Suspects
A man shot in a Baltimore County hookah bar died this weekend. Police identified the victim and said he was among four shot in the attack.

WOODLAWN, MD — One of the four people shot at a Woodlawn hookah bar died Saturday, police announced Monday, noting that they're still looking for suspects.
Officers identified the victim as 28-year-old Elijah Lamback. First responders said they found him shot inside the Azuz Hookah Lounge and took him to a hospital before he died the next day.
Authorities said the shooting happened Friday around 12:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive.

Police said they found two men with gunshot wounds on the scene and later learned of three additional walk-in victims at nearby hospitals.
Of the five people hurt, officers said four were shot while the fifth suffered a separate injury during the incident. Investigators did not list the condition of any of the other victims.

Video obtained by WBFF shows bystanders in a nightlife establishment ducking for cover and fleeing after the gunshots.
The Baltimore Sun reported that a 2023 shooting in the same block killed one and hurt four.
WMAR said the 2023 shooting happened in the parking lot outside the eatery BBQ Tonite.
Owner Sonny Awan told WMAR these shootings are no longer isolated incidents.
“It’s just that overnight, I don’t understand what exactly… why this becomes a place where some crime like that happens and it’s been happening constantly,” Awan told WMAR. “It’s pretty norm, and that’s the saddest part.”
The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-887-INFO (410-887-4636). Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.
The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
