Notre Dame Prep Dedicating Yeardley Love Field
The turf field will be used for field hockey, lacrosse and soccer.

After receiving and planning for 18 months, is unveiling a field named after slain alumna Yeardley Love.
The turf field will be dedicated on Sept. 9 at 5 p.m., according to a news release from the private Catholic school for girls. The ceremony will include a blessing, readings, music and addresses from school representatives.
"Yeardley was both a stand-out lacrosse player and a stand-out person," said Patricia McCarron, the school's headmistress, in the release. "This field is a beautiful reminder of her dedication as a player, student and member of the NDP community."

The Yeardley Love Field features light and bright blue accents, which were Love's class colors, the release reads. It will be used for field hockey, soccer and lacrosse.
