One Injured in Crash at Joppa and Fairmount

One person was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center, a police spokeswoman said.

One person was hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash in downtown Towson on Monday morning, according to police.

Police were called to the scene at East Joppa Road and Fairmount Avenue around 10:38 a.m., said police spokesman Louise Rogers-Feher.

A woman driving a blue Honda was struck while traveling eastbound on Joppa Road when another driver in a silver Hyundai attempted to make a left onto Fairmount from the westbound lanes without yielding.

The woman in the Honda hit her head and was taken to . Rogers-Feher did not have any information on citations for the driver of the Hyundai.
