Man Fatally Struck While Changing Flat Tire On I-695, Driver Flees: Police
A hit-and-run crash killed a man changing a flat tire on I-695, police said. Troopers are looking for the driver who fled the scene.

CATONSVILLE, MD — A man was fatally struck while changing a flat tire recently on Interstate 695 in Catonsville, police said. Troopers are looking for the unknown driver who fled the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as Junior Dunkley, 67, of Owings Mills.
Police said Dunkley was outside his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on the right shoulder of the inner loop of Interstate 695 at Wilkens Avenue when a passing driver struck him Sunday around 2:23 a.m.

Troopers said the other vehicle, described as a 2005 to 2012 Toyota Tacoma, failed to remain on the scene.
Authorities said an ambulance drove the victim to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was pronounced dead.
