Pedestrian Killed, Driver Hurt In Baltimore County Crash: Police

A 37-year-old pedestrian was killed in a Baltimore County crash, police said. The driver was hospitalized.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A pedestrian was killed, and a driver was hurt in a crash this week in the Catonsville area on U.S. Route 40, police said.

Officers identified the pedestrian as 37-year-old Jessica Davis.

Authorities said the collision happened Tuesday around 10:15 p.m. in the 5400 block of Baltimore National Pike near the City-County line.

Police said an eastbound 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV hit the pedestrian as she was trying to cross Baltimore National Pike.

Officers said the pedestrian died on the scene.

Medics took the driver to a hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.

The Baltimore County Police Department is still investigating.
