A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Baltimore County police have arrested a man in connection with a that took place at a PNC back located inside a Towson Giant supermarket. Jonathan David Bailey, 27, was charged with robbery, theft under $1,000 and resisting arrest, said police spokeswoman Elise Armacost in an email. Bailey, who has no fixed address, is being held on a $200,000 bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Towson police Capt. Jonathan Trentzsch that a robber was arrested after implying possession of a gun, stealing cash from the PNC branch and then fleeing past the county line into the city. Armacost wrote that the branch manager told police the robber presented her with a note threatening harm if she didn't give him money. The manager turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.
