A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Update (12:20 p.m., Mar. 5)—Irving was found in Parkville, according to police. He is safe and unharmed. Original post: Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man last seen in the Towson area. Roy Allen Irving, 67, of Pittsford, NY, was visiting his son at his home on Dunkirk Road in Towson. Irving was last seen at about 9 a.m. Friday after leaving to go to the Royal Farms store in the 7200 block of York Road, police announced Friday afternoon. Irving is described as a white male, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds and bald with brown eyes. Police say he may be confused due to a medical condition. He was last seen driving a light tan 2008 Chrysler Town and Country, according to police. A photo of Irving was not immediately available. If you see Irving, contact Baltimore County police at 410-307-2020.
