Rain on Towson's Parade? It's Possible
Forecasts are coming in for tomorrow's holiday.

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the forecasts for July 4 are in, and they aren't looking too nice.
Foot's Forecast made the call on Twitter. Forecasters there predict upwards of a half-inch of rain, with a batch of rain in the morning from about 8 to 11 a.m., then a "deluge" in the afternoon and evening hours.
In a Tuesday post, forecasters wrote, "It's not looking pretty no matter how optimistic we want to be about. On Tuesday, a warm front will cross the region south to north, with rain and storms to return by nightfall. This will set the stage for a wet and stormy Wednesday over much of the day."

The team says that the warm front and a high dewpoint create conditions ripe for another thunderstorm. The forecasters doubt that the evening's fireworks displays will proceed as planned.
For a second and third opinion, we turned to WJZ-TV and Accuweather.

WJZ is calling for a high of 99 with a possible thunderstorm. Accuweather concurs with Foot's, calling for a strong thunderstorm and a high in the low 90s.
The will go on rain or shine, and will only be canceled in case of severe weather.
