Police ID Towson Homicide Victim

Police say they are investigating circumstances around the fatal shooting in Towson Monday night.

TOWSON, MD — After a homicide in Towson Monday night, police have identified the victim.

Police said officers were called to the 800 block of Kenilworth Drive for a report of shots fired at 10:23 p.m.

Barry Ransom, 21, of Philadelphia, was found shot at least once, officials said. A few hours later, police reported he died at a local hospital.

Police said the victim and suspect were “together at the time of the shooting, and this was a targeted incident.”
