State Awards Baltimore County $355K for Bike Routes
The state awarded $90,000 for the Towson Bike Beltway.

Maryland Bikeways awarded $355,600 in grants for construct and repair bike routes in Baltimore County.
The program has awarded $3.2 million in funding to 23 projects in four counties and 12 municipalities, according to a news release from the state.

Extending the bicycle trail to connect Ebenezer and Silver Hall Roads: $126,000
- Bike route signage and lanes to connecting with the Baltimore City network: $60,000
- Signs for bike routes, bike lanes and “sharrows” in Southwest Baltimore County: $79,600
- Signs for bike routes, bike lanes and “sharrows” to link the Towson Bike Beltway: $90,000
