Thank You For Everything, Towson
It's a changing of the guard at Towson Patch. But don't worry: editor Tyler Waldman isn't going too far.

"Match.com?"
"No, Patch.com."
"Ah, OK. So you do, like, lawn care and stuff?"

It feels like that was the sort of exchange I went through every day two years ago. My, how times have changed. I was a fresh-faced college graduate when I first introduced myself and Patch to the Towson community. I watch my and I can literally see the nerves.
In two years, it's been my honor and privilege to help guide Towson Patch from an upstart news source to a must-read for thousands of office workers, business owners, students and residents alike. But now comes the time to make a change.

The important thing: You'll still see me around. I'll be moving to a new role at Patch, covering features, courts and other big stories along the York Road corridor, while keeping an eye on points north for Hunt Valley-Cockeysville Patch.
You'll still see my byline quite often here in Towson and, given that I , you may still be able to catch me tucked behind my laptop in or anywhere I can find free wi-fi and a good cup of coffee.
I'd also like to take a moment to introduce , the new full-time editor for Towson Patch. The former editor for Cockeysville, she also handles the school beat for Baltimore County Patch sites. You can reach her by email at nayana.davis@patch.com.
I would be remiss if I didn't thank my readers, first and foremost, for not just sitting back and reading, but being really active participants on this site. For sending me news tips, joining in the conversation on our Facebook page and helping to make Patch a true community.
I'd like to thank the local officials and community leaders like Councilman David Marks, Nancy Hafford, Ed Kilcullen, Mike Ertel, Richard Parsons and David Kosak for always being available to bug for quotes or story ideas. There isn't enough space here to thank everyone.
For now, I'm going on vacation to sunny Los Angeles. I'll see you around town when I get back. Thanks for reading.
