The thefts were discovered late last week.

Nearly two dozen tires and rims were stolen from a school bus depot in Towson last week.

According to a police incident report, 21 tires on rims were stolen from the depot in the 1000 block of Providence Road between 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and 1 p.m. on Friday.

Phyllis Reese, a spokeswoman, could not confirm the exact number of tires missing from the depot, but said the losses were insured.
