Towson Cheerleading Squad Punishment Reduced

Towson University’s cheerleading squad’s punishment for an alleged hazing incident has been reduced.
The team was originally suspended for the entire academic year, but an appeals board decided to ban the squad from participating in university sponsored events, exhibitions and competitions for the fall semester, according to WMAR television.
The university announced is its initial sanctions against the defending National Cheerleaders Association champions last month, but an appeals board decided to reduce the punishment last week.
