Towson Christmas Tree Is Lit
The Baltimore County Christmas tree is lit at Olympic Park.

TOWSON, MD — Santa rolled into Towson on the back of a firetruck Friday night to help county residents and leaders light the Christmas tree in Olympic Park.
Musical and dance performances were among the attractions at the Dec. 3 Christmas tree lighting, which closed Allegheny Avenue from 5 to 8 p.m.
"It is always a beautiful moment when the community comes together to celebrate wonderful traditions like this one," Councilman Izzy Patoka said. "May your holiday season be filled with love, joy and happiness."
