A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Using a key to enter, someone ransacked the home and removed property, including a television, PlayStation 3, iPod, eight watches and $3,100 in cash. Towson Manor Village Willow Avenue, unit block. Between Jan. 4 and Feb. 29. A side basement window was broken. Nothing was reported taken. Glendale Selkirk Road, 6700 block. Between 4 p.m. Mar. 1 and 4:30 p.m. Mar. 2. A basement window may have been broken and someone may have slept on a sofa inside. Nothing was reported taken. Towson York Road, 900 block. Between Feb. 25 and 27. Someone entered the construction site of the new , broke a small window and spray-painted several walls and lockers with profanity and satanic words and emblems. Dulaney Valley Court, 900 block.
