Towson Crime: Man Accused of Assaulting Officer at Days Inn

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Armed Robbery: 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, at 5:13 a.m., Sept. 29. Two robbers, a man armed with a handgun and a woman, stole money from the 7-Eleven’s register and ran away.

First Degree Burglary: 1600 block of Mussula Road, between 3 p.m., Sept. 28 and 12:30 a.m., Sept. 29.  A burglar pried open the front door and stole electronics and a BB gun.

First Degree Burglary: unit block of Allegheny Avenue, between 1 and 7 p.m., Sept. 27. A burglar broke into the apartment and stolen money.

Attempted Armed Robbery: 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road, 2:10 a.m., Sept. 27. A robber approached a man and demanded money. When the man refused the robber pulled out a knife, cut the man and then they began to fight. The man then ran back to his home.

First Degree Assault: 8700 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, at 12:04 a.m., on Sept. 27. Kendrick Stanton, 20, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault after struggling with an officer trying to remove him from the Days Inn. The officer was treated at a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Attempted Murder: Hillsway Avenue and Perring Parkway, 5:10 p.m., Sept. 26. A man was stabbed during a fight with about four to six other people.  He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

Armed Robbery: 1400 block of Shoemaker Road, 11:45 p.m., Sept. 24. The robber walked up to an employee of Henry’s Towing, asked if his vehicle had been towed and then hit her with a gun. The robber then stole the woman’s cellphone. 

First Degree Burglary: 500 block of Castle Drive, between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., Sept. 23. A burglar entered the apartment and stole jewelry.

First Degree Burglary: 7000 block of Wardman Road, between 9 and 11:30 a.m., Sept. 22. A burglar forced open a basement door and stole jewelry.
