Towson Crime: Vehicles Targeted for Theft

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Cromwell Bridge Road, 1100 block. Between 11 p.m. May 4 and 7:30 a.m. May 5. A thief tried to steal a 2004 Jeep Liberty. The rear window of the vehicle was found broken.

Ridge Avenue, 200 block. Between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. May 5. An American flag was stolen from the porch at a residence.

Colbury Road and Goucher Boulevard. Between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. May 5. The victim's son parked a silver 2004 Dodge Intrepid at the listed location at 2 a.m. and noticed it was missing at 6 a.m.

Cottage Lane, 1500 block. 9 a.m. May 5. A resident watched a man between 16 and 20 years of age break into his yard through a rear gate and attempt to steal a vehicle. The burglar ran off southbound on La Salle Road when confronted.

Aberdeen Road, 1800 block. Between 3:30 a.m. and 3:35 a.m. May 3. A burglar opened a front window and screen at a residence, reached inside and stole an iPad.
