Valve Issue Causes Cromwell Bridge Road Water Leak

A reader sent us this photo of water apparently bubbling up from below the road in the 600 block of Cromwell Bridge Road in Towson.

The good news is, it's not a water main break, Baltimore City officials say.

City public works spokesman Kurt Kocher said a valve on the pipe below Cromwell Bridge Road broke, and crews will head out to replace it, though he could not provide a timeline on the repair.

"It's not uncommon," he said.
