Welcome Inn Shooting: 2 Injured, Including Suspect: Police
Police said a man was shot at the Welcome Inn off Loch Raven Boulevard.

TOWSON, MD — Two men were shot in the area around Loch Raven Boulevard Monday night, according to police. Investigators say they believe one man shot another at the Welcome Inn, then himself.
Detectives were called to the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive for a shooting Monday night and found a man who had been shot, according to authorities, who did not identify the victim.
Officials said David Logsdon, 49, was found a short time later about 0.3 mile away.

He was injured in what police reported was an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
"Detectives determined Logsdon was the person responsible for the shooting that happened earlier at the Welcome Inn," police said, "based on a description the victim provided."

Court records do not show any charges filed against Logsdon as of Wednesday afternoon.
According to WJZ, Logsdon died. Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Patch.
