What's Open, Closed In Baltimore County For Christmas 2021
Trash collection, coronavirus testing, parking meters and libraries are affected by the Christmas holiday this week in Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — For the Christmas holiday, Baltimore County government offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 25.
Some services like trash pickup and the Towson circulator will be up and running Friday before shutting down for Christmas.
Baltimore County landfill and drop-off centers will remain open Friday, Dec. 24, but they will close on Christmas Day.

Trash and recycling collections will continue as usual on Friday for Christmas Eve but will be canceled Saturday due to the holiday.
Parking meters will be free on Christmas but must be paid all other days, including Christmas Eve.

The Towson Loop circulator will be operating Friday but will not be in service Saturday.
As a result of the holiday, these will be closed on Friday and Saturday, officials say:
- Baltimore County Animal Services
- Baltimore County COVID-19 testing sites
- Baltimore County COVID-19 vaccination clinics
- Baltimore County government offices
- Baltimore County Public Library branches
- CountyRide van service
- Courts
Branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will be closed through the weekend and will reopen Monday, Dec. 27.
Libraries will also be closed for the New Year's holiday from Friday, Dec. 31, to Sunday, Jan. 2.
Schools and offices will close three hours early for Baltimore County Public Schools on Thursday, Dec. 23. Students and staff will be on winter break until Monday, Jan. 3.
