Whole Foods Sets Opening Date In Towson For 2022
The new grocery store in Towson will open in January, according to a statement from Whole Foods.

TOWSON, MD — Whole Foods will open in Towson on Friday, Jan. 14.
The organic retailer, which operates more than 500 stores, issued a news release on Monday announcing the date it will open in Towson.
The long-awaited store will be in the Towson Row area.

Outdoor seating will overlook Towsontown Boulevard West.
Within the nearly 60,000-square-foot store, officials say the design will be "light and bright," emphasizing local products such as those from Bowery Nottingham Farm in Rosedale, Chapel's Country Creamery in Easton, and Hon's Honey in Baltimore.

Here are some of the things to look forward to in the store:
- Prepared foods section with hot and cold food bars as well as sushi
- Fresh flowers and produce
- Meat counter
- Specialty department, including cheese and other specialty food
- Seafood counter
- Coffee bar
- Bakery
- Wellness and beauty section
- Upstairs mezzanine with arcade, lounge and community room
The address for the new Whole Foods will be 300 Towson Row.
To celebrate its new community, Whole Foods Market is donating $15,000 to the Baltimore Hunger Project, Assistance Center of Towson Churches and Towson University’s FoodShare.
