Woman Seriously Injured in Towson Hit and Run

The injured woman is the wife of NFL writer and analyst Jason La Canfora.

(UPDATED 2:39 p.m.)—The woman injured in a hit and run in Towson on Friday morning is the wife of Jason La Canfora a writer and television analyst, who covers the National Football League for CBS.

La Canfora confirmed on Twitter that it was his wife who was struck by a car at about 10:29 a.m. at Stevenson Lane and York Road.

"Anyone who can help with info on this creep who ran over my wife, I will get you autographed NFL stuff, whatever," Canfora's tweet reads.

She was taken to Sinai Trauma in serious condition, said Louise Rogers-Fehr, a police spokeswoman.

Police are currently searching for a white imported car, with temporary Maryland tags and damage to its hood and front bumper.

Police described the responsible vehicle as a white imported car, with damage to its bumper and hood with temporary Maryland plates, Louise Rogers-Fehr, a police spokeswoman, said.

The car was last seen heading east on Stevenson Road.
