Obama Administration to Host Free Help for Homeowners in Pr. George's County Today

A free Help for Homeowners community event, sponsored by the Obama Administration’s Making Home Affordable Program and NeighborWorks® America, will be held in Prince George's County for all homeowners who may be at risk of foreclosure.
The event is free, open to the public and provides a chance for homeowners to meet face-to-face with their mortgage company and a HUD-approved counseling agency to work on a solution to help them avoid foreclosure.

Major mortgage servicers, non-profit counselors and others to offer face-to-face assistance to struggling homeowners in the Metro area.
The event will be held at the Show Place Arena at 14900 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Obama Administration’s Making Home Affordable Program was created to help struggling homeowners modify or refinance their mortgage payments to make them more affordable, or transition to more affordable housing to avoid preventable foreclosures.
