Police Look For Serial Bank Robber

Prince George's County Police are hoping the public can help them find a suspect they believe has robbed three banks in Camp Springs and District Heights.

 

Police are hoping Prince George's County residents can help them identify the suspect involved in three bank robberies in Camp Springs and District Heights.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, in each incident the suspect walks into a bank and passes a note to the teller demanding money.

"The note implie[d] he has a weapon and that he'll hurt people if his demands are not met," police stated.

The robberies have occurred over a four-month period, since March 21, police said.

On March 21, the suspect allegedly robbed the Capital One Bank at 6335 Marlboro Pike in District Heights. Then on April 25, it was the Wells Fargo Bank at 5801 Silver Hill Road in District Heights that was hit. The latest robbery was June 28 at the BB&T at 6410 Allentown Road in Camp Springs.

A cash reward if being offered for the tip that leads to an arrest and indictment of the suspect.
