Prince George's County Sex Offender Pleads Guilty

The Greenbelt employee faces up to 17 years in prison for assaulting a 9-year-old.

A man who worked at Greenbelt’s Beltsville Agricultural Research Center pleaded guilty to federal charges of sexual abuse and will be sentenced 12 to 17 years in prison.

In his hearing on Sept. 19, Kevin Robinson, 53, of Washington, D.C., admitted to sexually assaulting a 9-year-old. He drove the victim to his workplace, where he bit her breast and forced her to perform a sex act, The Associated Press reported.

Investigators told the news service that Robinson drove the girl to the research center on Oct. 13, 2013. According to a report by NBC, a DNA analysis of the saliva from the bite on the victim’s chest was later used to identify Robinson.
