Report: Pr. George's County May Sell Show Place Arena
The county wants to sell the Upper Marlboro equestrian center to Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
could have a new owner, if Prince George's County Council follows through with a proposal to sell the property.
Anita Pesses, a spokeswoman with the county's Department of Parks and Recreation, told The Gazette that if the Upper Marlboro-based equestrian center were sold to Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, it would make it easier to renovate in the future.
Currently the land is owned by the county, although the facilities are owned by M-NCPPC, The Gazette reported. For any project, M-NCPPC must confer with the county before making any upgrades.

The county's proposal states that the property could sell for $3.2 million, according to the paper.
