Police received a call for an injured man at a park in the 8300 block of Woodyard Road in Clinton at 1 p.m. Dec. 3. Officers arrived on the scene and found Alas with wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead in the park.

Although there is no evidence connecting Alas with a gang, the PGPD’s preliminary investigation reveals that the three teenagers stabbed him for thinking he was involved with a rival gang.
