Wing of Prince George's Courthouse Evacuated

More than four dozen people complained of feeling ill.

UPDATED: An entire wing of the Prince George's County Courthouse was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon, after nearly 50 people complained of feeling ill.

According to NBC Washington, the ill complained of feeling dizzy or having headaches. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. in the Bourne Wing of the building.

Five hundred people were evacuated from the building and 46 people were evaluated and released for their symptoms. No one was transported to hospitals, Prince George's Fire Chief Marc Bashoor reported.

Bashoor stated that no hazmat issue was found on scene but that the issue would be investigated.
