5 Teens Arrested After Crashing Stolen Cars In Montgomery County: Police
Police said the crash happened Tuesday at the intersection of Heathfield and Parkland Drives.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Five teenagers are facing charges following a four-vehicle collision involving stolen cars in the Aspen Hill area, according to Montgomery County police.
About 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the intersection of Heathfield and Parkland Drives after receiving a call about a crash. According to police, multiple teenagers were seen running from the area following the collision.
When officers arrived at the crash scene, they found three vehicles idling but unoccupied. According to police, all three vehicles — one Kia and two Hyundais — were stolen.

While investigating the crash, officers spotted another stolen, dark-colored Kia speeding away from the area with multiple people inside. The Kia stopped at Weller Road and five teenagers were seen getting out, police said.
All five teens were taken into custody without incident. Following their arrest, police said the teens were in possession of items used to break into cars, including knives and other tools.

The teens were charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and released to their guardians, police said.
