The westbound side of the 11500 block of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton is shut down due to a crash involving a Metro bus, Montgomery County Police reported on Twitter at 5:12 p.m.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services is on the scene, Capt. Oscar Garcia said. Garcia did not have a specific count for the number of cars and individuals involved, but he said that there did not appear to be any severe injuries.
