Help Fight Hunger With Thanksgiving in February

A Montgomery County event allows for residents to give back to the needy, while having a night out at a local restaurant.

Feb. 28 is your chance to dine out for a good cause as a part of Thanksgiving in February.

Not only will patrons support local restaurants, but a portion of their check will help feed the hungry.

The 20-year-old event will help 11 Montgomery County agencies provide emergency food to those in need through the nonprofit Interfaith Works

Restaurants around the county will donate up to 20 percent of their patrons' checks to the charity, including Wheaton's Hollywood East Café, Ledo Pizza, Los Cobanos, Max's Kosher Café, and Nova Europa.
