• Family displaced after kitchen fire in Wheaton townhome (wjla.com) — A Sunday evening kitchen fire in a Wheaton townhome displaced at least one family, though all residents and their dog escaped safely and no serious injuries were reported. About 60 Montgomery County firefighters quickly contained the blaze on Schoolhouse Circle near Veirs Mill Road, preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes.
