The Wheaton Five: Nov. 9

Five things for today: the weather, Safeway's groundbreaking ceremony, a culinary walking tour of Wheaton, Michelle Obama, the Wheaton Urban District Advisory Committee and Give to the Max Day.

1. Today’s weather: Sunny like yesterday, but with a bit of fog in the morning. Temperatures soar to the upper 60s throughout the day. Expect a cloudy evening with lows in the upper 40s.

2. The (and the 17-story apartment building to be constructed on top of it) will be at 10 a.m.

Also, a reminder that today is the last day to register (or cancel registration) for the The walking tour, which is sponsored by Les Dames d’Escoffier, takes place November 8 from 9:45 a.m. to early afternoon.
