WHEATON, MD — Westfield Wheaton Mall is holding its first-ever Wheaton Wonderland event on Saturday, Dec. 2, a celebration that will feature Santa, holiday crafts and activities, and theatrical and music performers. The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 in Macy's Lower Court at the mall. Visitors will get to create homemade ornaments, gingerbread snowflakes, snowmen, houses, wearable holiday hats and holiday greeting cards. Complimentary hot cocoa will be offered to the public. "Wheaton Wonderland is our headline event to kick off the holiday season and bring friends, families, and the community together to celebrate," Westfield Wheaton Marketing Manager Michael Lado said in a statement.
