Beerworks Shutting Down All Locations Due To Pandemic
With locations in Boston, Salem, Hingham, Lowell, and Framingham, the latest victim to COVID-19's restaurant massacre has closed its doors.
BOSTON — Another local chain of breweries and taphouses bites the dust forever due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This time, it's Beerworks, a staple for many on their way to a Red Sox game, a stop while visiting Salem in the fall, or a trip for those checking out the Hingham shipyard.
With five locations, Beerworks has decided to call it quits.

A Facebook post from the Salem location announced the closure Monday.
Beerworks first opened in 1992 across from Fenway Park, proving to be a popular pit stop during baseball season.

After Boston came locations in Salem, North Station/West End Lowell, Hingham, and Framingham.
All locations temporarily closed in March 2020, during the start of the pandemic, and at the time, only Framingham, Hingham, and Salem were told to be shutting down permanently.
