The boy reportedly fell through a closed window screen from approximately 12 feet off the ground. He was transported to the emergency room by father after being discovered unresponsive.

Trash Strike Update Day 35: Union Reaffirms Strike Vote As Stoppage Nears 6th Week

Teamsters Local Union 25 members voted to continue their work stoppage into a 35th day on Monday. According to Teamsters Local Union 25 President Thomas Mari, Republic has not met with its workers for negotiations in more than two weeks.
Affected communities like Danvers, Peabody, and Beverly are looking for recourse while urging the two sides to resume negotiations.

Smoke-Filled Skies Spark Air Quality Alert Across MA

The state’s Department of Environmental Protection issued an Air Quality Alert throughout the state that is effective through the end of Monday. The department said that the air could be unhealthy for people with asthma, lung disease, heart disease, and the elderly.

Massive Lizard On The Lam In MA Finally Captured

After two weeks on the loose, the five-foot water monitor lizard was safely captured over the weekend. The reptile, named Goose, escaped his Webster home on Friday, July 18. Before his capture, he was spotted multiple times, including once in Connecticut.
