More Snow Coming To MA: 'Clipper' System Also Brings High Winds
The Thursday night event will add to the scant snow seen across the state on Tuesday during a nor'easter.

MASSACHUSETTS — A brief snowstorm Thursday night could bring several inches to Massachusetts, plus wind gusts in excess of 50 mph, according to forecasters.
Snow will move in near midnight and drop 1 to 3 inches, with higher amounts forecast for northern portions of the state along the New Hampshire border. Boston, Worcester and the Cape could see anywhere from a dusting to 2 inches.
The "clipper system" will also bring high winds to the state Friday, with a wind warning in effect for all parts of the state west of Worcester, plus northwestern Middlesex County. The daytime hours on Thursday will be sunny and calm.
