Country Music Stars Play Gillette Stadium + Mumford & Sons And 12 MA Events This Weekend

Plus: Celebrating sweat in Boston's Seaport, a major weekend in Provincetown and Outloud in Boston.

MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

Welcome to Patch's latest weekly roundup of highlight-worthy events across the city and surrounding areas. We've compiled them into one, easy-to-follow list, for your weekend planning.

This weekend, two major country music superstars team up for one show at Gillette Stadium.

Chris Stapleton and George Strait will play at the home of the New England Patriots on Saturday alongside up-and-comer Parker McCollum. The date is part of a set of one-offs, and limited tickets are still available for $99.

The show will start at 5:45 p.m., with parking lots scheduled to open at 1:45 p.m. and gates opening at 4:15 p.m.

In Boston, Outloud is scheduled for Saturday bringing big names in music to The Stage at Suffolk Downs. Those names include Kim Petras, Flo Milli, Rebecca Black and more.

Also this weekend, Seaport Sweat, in celebration of its 10th anniversary, will host the inaugural Sweatapalooza on Saturday.

The Seaport Common will transform into an outdoor fitness class complete with live DJs, fitness classes and more.

The class schedule is:

  • 10:15 to 11 a.m.: Kick It By Eliza with Eliza Shirazi
  • 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Vinyasa Yoga with Jasmine Furbert
  • 12:15 to 1 p.m.: Broncore Bootcamp with Bron Volney

It is also Frolic Weekend in Provincetown, with events set for the entire weekend.
