First Day Cut Short After Roof Fire At Central MA School

There were no injuries, according to police.

LUNENBURG, MA — Students at school in central Massachusetts were sent home early on the first day of school.

Lunenburg Middle High School was dismissed early after police said a fire broke out on the roof of the school. There were no injuries, according to the Lunenburg Police Department.

Police said that all students and staff were accounted for.
