Free Tacos For National Taco Day Idea At MA Taqueria: MA Cheap Eats

The deal starts on National Taco Day as a local chain looks for its annual special ahead of next year's celebration.

MASSACHUSETTS — National Taco Day falls on a Tuesday this year, and a local group of taquerias is set to offer a special and a chance for a year of free tacos.

Available at all 10 locations beginning Oct. 7, Anna’s Taqueria will release a special chimichurri steak taco that will be available for a limited time, but, as restaurant officials note, there have been other Taco Day specials that've survived on the menu.

The new taco features tender grilled steak, queso fresco, fresh cilantro and diced red onion finished with housemade chimichurri. Additionally, the brand will offer chimichurri sauce as a complimentary add-on to bowls, burritos or quesadillas.

Diners can enter their suggestions in-store starting Oct. 7, and if your idea is selected, you'll receive free tacos for a year.

How To Support Breast Cancer At Chicken Chain

Raising Cane's has launched its first-ever, limited-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Plush Puppy, with a minimum of $3 from the sale of each plush puppy donated to Stand Up To Cancer, a charitable organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding research to detect and treat cancers.

Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the all-pink Breast Cancer Awareness Plush Puppy will be available for $9.99 plus tax at restaurants and online at RaisingCanesGear.com.

The plush is inspired by Cane’s yellow Labrador mascot and dressed in a signature pink bandana featuring paw prints, hearts and pink ribbons.

“We are deeply grateful for this generous donation, which brings us one step closer to a world without cancer,” said Sue Schwartz, Co-founder, Stand Up To Cancer. “Every contribution fuels our mission to fund groundbreaking research, and bring hope to families affected by this disease. Together with support from organizations like Raising Cane’s, we are making a difference in the fight against cancer.”
