BOSTON, MA — Boston has again ranked on a list of the nation's worst cities for driving. A study from Forbes Advisor placed Boston at No. 15 overall.

However, Boston had the dubious distinction of having the worst score in the driving experience category.

Forbes defined "driving experience" as the number of hours lost in traffic congestion, average commuter time, average speed in rush hour traffic, and other metrics.

Boston scored 100 out of 100 in this category, meaning it edged out New York City for the worst driving experience by a little more than a point.

Boston made up for this poor score in Forbes' other categories. It had one of the best safety scores, which took into account data on fatal car accidents and car thefts. Boston also scored high on access to car maintenance.
