Among some of the biggest draws in the state are the fireworks at Patriot Place, in Foxborough.

The popular Fireworks Spectacular will return this year, taking place on July 2.

The festivities will include live entertainment, family-friendly activities, themed photo opportunities and special appearances by Pat Patriot, the New England Patriots Cheerleaders and the New England Revolution Street Team, officials said.

The Dean College Stage will also feature live entertainment from local band American Honey from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. before the evening culminates in the fireworks display beginning around 9:15 p.m.

Of course, there is also the annual Boston Harborfest, which this year runs from July 2 - 4.

The kickoff ceremony for the event starts at 11:30 a.m. on July 2, followed by live music and Harborfest fireworks, which are scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. A pre-fireworks concert is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.

On July 4, the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is scheduled from 8 to 11 p.m.
